1. Visiting this website
Requests for pages, images, application files and weather references expose normal connection data to the hosting service, such as IP address, requested file, time and browser information. The site is hosted with Cloudflare Pages. Hosting and security functions are separate from the calculator’s local storage. The platform manages its operational logs; we do not state an unverified fixed retention period for them.

2. Calculator inputs
Calculations run in your browser. The application code does not submit electricity use, prices, equipment or cost inputs to a server or analytics service. It loads the selected public reference dataset from this same website. Calculating does not require an account or a bill upload.
3. Storage on your device
The active scenario, current step and view are retained in this tab’s session storage. Browser session-restoration features may restore them. Choosing “Save locally” keeps one scenario per market beyond the current tab, including inputs, selected rule context, save time and model version. It remains until you delete it or clear browser data.
Use the calculator’s delete option or the controls on our cookies and storage page. Reset replaces active example inputs; it does not delete downloaded files. Anyone using the same browser profile may be able to see locally saved scenarios.
4. Contact messages
If you email us, your email address, message and any information you choose to include are used to address your request. Delivery uses email providers, including Gmail for the published inbox. Share only what is necessary. Messages are retained for as long as needed to handle and document the request or meet applicable obligations.
5. Advertising, analytics and external links
This release does not load Google AdSense ads, advertising pixels or affiliate-tracking scripts. Google Analytics 4 loads only after you choose “Allow analytics”. Declining leaves every calculator feature available. After consent, Google processes page visits, browser and device information and technical connection data. Electricity use, tariffs, equipment costs and other calculator inputs are not sent as analytics parameters. Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled. Consent is the basis for this optional analytics processing.
Use “Analytics preferences” in the footer to change or withdraw your choice. Withdrawal disables analytics for this site and removes its Analytics cookies; it does not automatically delete information already sent. Your choice and Analytics cookies are stored for up to 180 days. See Google’s privacy policy and GA4 and EU privacy for provider information. Following an external link takes you to another provider’s privacy practices.
6. Purposes, international processing and rights
Processing supports the requested calculator features, website operation and replies to voluntary messages. Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, legitimate interests in operating and responding may apply; optional services requiring consent need that consent. Optional visitor analytics is enabled only after your consent.
The publisher is based in China, and hosting and email services may process data outside your country. We do not claim EU-only storage. Where applicable law gives you rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, contact the address above. You may also contact the relevant data-protection authority. We cannot remotely access calculator values stored in your browser; you can remove those locally.
